Whoop Builds

I have built a ton of whoop sized quads over the years. Initially I was determined to use a Caddx vista because the video is just so great. I had an 85mm sized quad running this that I used to fly around my backyard in the winter while I sat indoors. I really wanted something smaller so I migrated to 65mm analog builds. Whoops are very affordable and somewhat fragile so when major components inevitably break I almost always redo the entire build to try out new components I have in my workshop.

Recently I have been a big fan of the Fractal 65 frame with some high KV motors. I do not like Betaflight for Whoops. They never seem to fly right on it, so I almost always run Quicksilver on them. HIghly reccomended firmware even though its sometimes a bit janky.

My daughter is a huge fan of butterflys so she absolutely loved this Meteor65 build on the right despite its super low flight times.
